Pray For The Release Of Chibok Girls, Says Imam
Malam Muhammad Nafi’u, Yesterday, the Chief Imam of Nupe Road Juma’at Mosque, Kaduna, urged all Muslims pray specially for the abducted Chibok schoolgirls in Borno.

The chief imam also urged parents and love ones not to be discouraged from enrolling their children in schools because of what he described as a “devilish act”.
He said “in Islam, it is obligatory on parents to educate their children.
“Parents and guardians must give both western and Islamic education to their children and wards for their lives here on earth and hereafter.’’
The cleric also condemned the activities of Boko Haram were against the teachings of Islam, he added “Islam is a religion of peace, which does not accept violence.’’
Nafi’u, who appealed to the Boko Haram members to release the girls unconditionally in the name of allah, urged Nigerians to assist security operatives by giving useful information on the whereabouts of the girls to secure their safe release.
He attributed the prevailing intolerance by most Nigerians to ignorance and the lack of proper knowledge of religious injunctions.
