Speaks to the mountain,

Image
There is a difference between speaking to your mountain and speaking about your mountain. Speaking about your mountain will magnify the problem in your mind. The problem will begin to look bigger and bigger in your sight. But speaking to your mountain keeps things in proper perspective. When you put God’s Word in your mouth, magnifying the Answer above all else, speaking to the mountain will cause it to move (Mark 11:23–24)! This week: Take a day and keep track of how many times you speak about the problem you’re facing. Go to God’s Word—the Bible—and find out what it says about the problem. Begin to replace your words about the situation with God’s Word on the matter. Each time you begin to speak about the problem, remind yourself to speak to it, telling it to change and conform to what the Word says!

Way of Strengthen Family Love

Image
Affection and love in the family is quite nature and must to have elements to promote the harmony and positive growth of the family. It is the deep affection that makes parents inclined to the sacrifices of growing up kids, perform household activities and meet the financial requirements. If the affection factor is absent no one would have lived dedicatedly for the family. The affection obligates parents to take pain of looking after the kids and similarly, kids to love and obey the parents. Constantly nurturing the affection in the family is essential to keep the bond of love between the members of the family strong. It is the unmatched affection that creates the belongingness in the family life. The affection expressed within the family is not benevolence but a commitment. Verbal expressions of affection, quality time spend with the family, gifts, mutual services, affectionate touch etc... are the most advised modes of nurturing the affection in the family between the family

The wing is a wand That has magic,   If misunderstood It would be tragic. It is love That brings emancipation,   An invisible thread   Of all relation.   On this wing   Fly everyone,   Flied not once There is none. If you want   To see the heaven,   Fall in love   That God has given. Let me fly On this wing,   Towards heaven With full swing.

Money Laundering

Money laundering is the process of transforming the proceeds of crime and corruption into ostensibly legitimate assets. In a number of legal and regulatory systems, however, it has become conflated with other forms of financial and business crime, and is sometimes used more generally to include misuse of the financial system (involving things such as securities, digital currencies, credit cards, and traditional currency), including terrorism financing and evasion of international sanctions. Most anti-money laundering laws openly conflate money laundering (which is concerned with source of funds) with terrorism financing (which is concerned with destination of funds) when regulating the financial system. Some countries define money laundering as obfuscating sources of money, either intentionally or by merely using financial systems or services that do not identify or track sources or destinations.[citation needed] Other countries define money laundering to include money from activit

Self-Discipline - The Foundation for Success

Image
No personal success, achievement, or goal, can be realized without self-discipline. It is singularly the most important attribute needed to achieve any type of personal excellence, athletic excellence, virtuosity in the arts, or otherwise outstanding performance.   What is self-discipline?   It is the ability to control one's impulses, emotions, desires and behavior. It is being able to turn down immediate pleasure and instant gratification in favor of gaining the long-term satisfaction and fulfillment from achieving higher and more meaningful goals.   To possess it is to be able to make the decisions, take the actions, and execute your game plan regardless of the obstacles, discomfort, or difficulties, that may come your way.   Certainly, being disciplined does not mean living a limiting or a restrictive lifestyle. Nor, does not mean giving up everything you enjoy, or, to relinquish fun and relaxation. It does mean learning how to focus your mind and energies

[BREAKING] Ondo election: We will remove Ibrahim’s name, says INEC

Image
The Independent National Electoral Commission has said that it will obey the judgement of the Court Appeal, which asked it to remove the name of Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the Saturday governorship election in Ondo State.  The commission said it would now replace his name with that of Mr. Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) as ordered by the appeal court.  However, the electoral body said that the order of the court should be served on it before Friday.  It said it was when such judgment is served on it that it will immediately comply with it.  Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman of the commission, Mr. Rotimi Oyekanmi, stated this in an interview with our correspondent. He nevertheless said that the commission was not planning to shift the date of the election.  Oyekanmi said that the commission would now jettison the earlier Federal High Court judgment by Justice Abang Okon, asking it to use the name of Ibrahim as the PDP candidate.  He s

Love or Lust

Image
Poets, songwriters and even scientists have pondered the question: what is love and what is lust? Sometimes it can be difficult to tell if you are in lust or love, both are hard to define and the division of the two can get blurry. Love is one of life’s most intense emotions, and when you are in lust it’s easy to think you are feeling love but the two are different.  If you’ve been struck by Cupid’s arrow, read on to learn if what you’ve found is love or lust. Are You in Lust or Love?    Love commonly starts out as lust and the two might even have an overlapping stage at some point in the relationship — or lust may never turn into love. Lust is what first brings people together. It’s that initial desire to be with the person, while love is the desire to stay with him or her. They are both experiences felt by a person for another person but when you feel lust for someone, generally you’re just attracted to him or her; you don’t have that deep emotional connection t

Believe In Yourself

Image
What do Hilary Lunke, Ben Curtis, Annika Sorenstam, Jim Furyk and Tiger Woods have in common?  ''They all believe they can win''.  To play at your best you must believe in yourself. You must believe in your body's ability to perform. You must believe that you can get better. Self-doubt means that you question your competence to hit the ball where you want it to go. As you begin to doubt, you tell your body how to swing the club, which then becomes more difficult, mechanical and forced. Anxiety begins when you first doubt your ability. There is no doubt in sinking a 1-inch putt. When you feel the pressure and miss a 4-footer to win, you create a self-fulfilling prophesy that you can't sink 4-footers. These world-class champions know that no matter how much pressure there is to win a major, they feel less anxiety when they do not doubt that they can win. They trust their competence even when they are surrounded by doubting voices. Playing to his p

5 Reasons Father-Daughter Relationships Are Important

Image
Fathers, be good to your daughters Daughters will love like you do ~ “Daughters,” by John Mayer We hear a lot about the importance of male role models in a boy’s life. It is indeed important. But what’s often missing from the conversation is the importance of fathers in a daughter’s life as well. Children really do learn what they live. Not having the perspective of older people, they consider whatever their family is like as their “normal.” From infancy, girls draw conclusions about what men are like from the men in their life. If there is a father (or a male in her life who takes a father role), that man becomes her guidepost for what to expect of men and what to expect of men’s attitude toward women. His relationship to her mother or his significant other is her template for what her relationship with a man will be when she grows up. 1 . Dad's influence their daughter's self-image . First and foremost, dads should always tell their daughters how

Live Your Day

This morning as I took my kids to school, I was feeling rushed and harried. Stress levels high, my face wore a permanent frown, my mind was in a million different places, and my two youngest kids (3 year old, and 20 months) were quiet in their car seats. Then I realized: while my mind is elsewhere, I’m missing some prime moments with my kids. And not really enjoying my day. And so I changed the moment, and in doing so changed my day: we began singing some of our favorite children’s songs. Itsy-bitsy spider, twinkle twinkle, wheels on the bus, ABCDs, I’ve been working on the railroad, the ants go marching two by two … all of the oldies. Instead of thinking about all the things I had to do today, I brought myself into the present moment. And when we got to school, I took a few minutes to spend time with them. Be present with them. It was truly lovely. This little incident not only brought warmth and joy into my heart … it brought a realization into my mind: I can either have a s
